The Brain Aneurysm Institute at BIDMC is one of the premier centers for neurovascular diseases worldwide.
We provide leading-edge neurosurgery and endovascular treatments for patients with brain aneurysms. We also treat you if you have other brain and spine vascular problems. Our team provides comprehensive, well-coordinated and compassionate care that offers the best possible outcome for you and your family.
Trauma surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on the immediate care of patients who have suffered a severe injury, usually in an emergency or accident. The Trauma Center at BIDMC receives trauma patients from referring hospitals in the region. We deliver the highest level of expert care for adult patients with all types and severity of traumatic injuries (except burns).
The Trauma Center works together with the Department of Surgery, the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care & Pain Medicine, and the Department of Emergency Medicine to treat you if you have traumatic injuries.
Our surgical critical care service provides collaborative, well-coordinated care for you if you have undergone a complex surgical procedure after experiencing trauma or sudden illness.
