Partnering With Patients & Families
At Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), our patient-centered philosophy of care recognizes the importance of the patient and family perspective. Partnering with our patient and family community helps ensure that the needs and preferences of patients and families are guiding changes within BIDMC.
Patient and Family Advisory Councils (PFACs) are one of many opportunities for collaboration the Patient and Family Engagement Program offers. PFACs are central hubs of learning, collaboration and engagement between Patient/Family Advisors, care providers, staff and leaders.
