More About Integrity & Compliance

Code of Conduct

BIDMC's mission statement is fundamental to who we are and what we do. Its principles form the basis of our Code of Conduct and Compliance Program.

We follow all the laws and regulations that affect the way we do our job. The BIDMC Code of Conduct is a formal statement of BIDMC's standards and rules of ethical business conduct. It helps us understand and put into action our belief in integrity at work — always.

At BIDMC, you have a number of avenues for asking questions, seeking advice or raising concerns. If you are unsure whether an action may be unethical or may violate the law or BIDMC policy, ask your manager, your chief, the Office of Compliance and Business Conduct, or when appropriate, the Office of General Counsel, before taking that action. We must only engage in work or business opportunities that are legal and ethical and otherwise consistent with the BIDMC Code of Conduct.
