When designing care plans for our patients, BIDMC’s primary care physicians work with specialists in departments throughout BIDMC. This ensures you have access to quality care that is personalized to fit your unique health needs, at locations that are convenient to you.
Even before joining the BILH system, BIDMC has maintained relationships with several BILH hospitals, including BID Needham, BID Plymouth and BID Milton. These partnerships have served a critical role enabling our physicians to provide extraordinary to those not just in BIDMC’s historic communities, but also in communities throughout the Greater Boston area.
Additionally, our partnership with the experts at Joslin Diabetes Center allows our diabetes patients to access the care they need from experienced specialists they can trust.
BIDMC is committed to developing innovative, research-based care solutions while training the next generation of physicians. Our partnership with Harvard Medical School allows our physicians to conduct research programs and labs alongside Harvard-based clinicians, while active medical staff have the opportunity to hold faculty appointments at Harvard.
In addition to our affiliated physician group, Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP), BIDMC collaborates closely with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to deepen our commitment to providing exceptional cancer care to patients throughout the region.
BIDMC has affiliations with outstanding caregivers throughout eastern Massachusetts, including Cambridge Health Alliance, Signature Healthcare, Community Care Alliance, Atrius Health and Hebrew Senior Life. Our growing system of community hospitals, physicians and community-based practices provides high-quality care close to home, with easy access to specialty care in Boston when appropriate.
BIDMC is the official hospital of the Boston Red Sox. We partner with the Red Sox to implement a variety of programs aimed at delivering impactful health and social outcomes to our local communities.
