BIDMC’s Commitment To Healthcare Equity
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center’s (BIDMC) history is rooted in providing care for our community, founded on principles for caring for the sick, the impoverished, the oppressed, and the underserved communities. BIDMC is committed to providing healthcare that is fair and just for everyone, services patients’ needs when they need it, and to improve the health and lives of our patients.
Service to our community is at the core of our mission, aligned with our belief that everyone has the right to receive medical and behavioral health that they need, welcoming all patients regardless of race, religion, country of origin, immigration status, disability or handicap, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, military status, or source of payment.
