Appointment Information

Call 617-632-7246 to request an appointment. Patients who call the Neurosurgery Appointment Line will speak with an administrative assistant, who will coordinate an appointment with the appropriate neurosurgeon.

Please note that our appointment phone line is intended for non-emergent conditions only. In the case of an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency response team.

Insurance Referrals: Please remember that you may be required by your insurance company to obtain a referral from your primary care physician ahead of time.

Co-payments: If your insurance plan requires a co-payment at the date of service, it is expected that you will pay your co-payment during the check-in process.

Please bring the following to your appointment:

  • Your insurance card and hospital card (if you have one)
  • Your co-payment, if applicable
  • A list of medications you are currently taking
  • All medical information regarding your current diagnosis, such as MRI/CT scans, doctors’ notes, and pathology reports
