Specialists from the Division of Podiatry, Division of Foot & Ankle Surgery, and Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery work together to help you get the care you need.

Conditions We Treat

Our nationally known foot and ankle surgeons provide an experienced and caring approach to the most complicated foot deformities using the latest techniques. We treat many foot and ankle conditions:

  • Arthritic joints
  • Bunion correction
  • Bone spurs/heel spurs
  • Chronic wounds
  • Fractures and dislocations
  • Hammertoe correction
  • Neuromas
  • Painful flat feet
  • Ruptured tendons and ligaments
  • Soft tissue tumors and cysts

Minimally Invasive Surgery

Minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery is performed through “keyhole” incisions to minimize damage to muscle, tendons, ligaments and surrounding structures. Your surgeon will use special instruments and cameras, along with intraoperative x-rays, to access the damaged areas and protect the surrounding muscles, tendons and ligaments.

Benefits of Minimally Invasive Surgery

Minimally invasive surgery leads to less pain and scarring. It also often leads to faster recovery after surgery. It allows you to return to your life and activities quicker and reduces the need for pain management and medication.

Other benefits of minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery include:

  • Decreased wound infections
  • Less blood loss
  • Less post-operative pain
  • Less swelling
