The Division of General Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) provides expert evaluation and treatment. You can expect rapid access to a wide range of general surgical services, from simple to the most complex, in a planned or emergency setting.
General surgeons can perform traditional open surgery and the latest minimally invasive procedures. Our general surgeons offer expert, comprehensive care through pre-operative evaluations, outpatient procedures, inpatient surgery and post-operative follow-up care.
