The Harvard Medical School BIDMC Neurology Clerkship Program is designed to give medical students a solid foundation in neurology, which is the study of the brain and nervous system.

What You’ll Do

  • Learn Clinical Skills: You’ll practice examining patients, asking detailed questions, and managing different brain and nerve conditions.
  • Get a Broad Experience: You’ll work in different areas like General Neurology, Epilepsy, and Stroke to see various aspects of neurology.
  • Attend Conferences: Participate in daily meetings, weekly patient conferences, and a special case review with the department chairman.
  • Work with Experts: Get guidance and feedback from experienced neurology faculty.

Your First Day

  • 7:00 am: Join the team for rounds (Farr Building, 11th Floor)
  • 9:30 am: Attend a presentation with Professor Ronthal (West Clinical Center, Room 250)
  • 10:30 am: Meet Bardia Abbasi, the Course Director, for an orientation (Room 250)
