Global Health Education and Training Opportunities

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) aims to train leaders in the design, management, improvement and evaluation of global public health programs that address the health of the world's underserved populations. We offer global health educational opportunities at Harvard University and through long-term partnerships in Botswana and elsewhere.

As part of its commitment to global health training, BIDMC funds four to six residents per year to attend one of two Harvard global health academic courses. Residents from any BIDMC training program may apply and are selected after a committee review. Space is limited due to funding and the competitive nature of these positions. Applications are due annually in early winter.
