Pain Management at BIDMC
If you suffer acute or chronic pain and have not responded to conventional therapies, the William Arnold-Carol A. Warfield, MD Pain Center and our community locations have the experience and expertise to diagnose and treat your pain. We offer compassionate, comprehensive care and leading-edge treatments for chronic and complex pain to return you to a fuller, more active life.
Note: The Arnold-Warfield Pain Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center does not routinely prescribe long-term opioids for pain management. If it is decided that opioid medication is the appropriate way for you to manage your pain, our recommendations will be sent to your primary or treating provider. You will not be given a prescription for opioids during your initial visit. If you feel you may have an addiction problem, please discuss treatment options with your primary care provider. The BIDMC Department of Psychiatry also has treatment options for addiction and substance abuse disorder.
