About the Department of Radiology
The Department of Radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is composed of more than 65 Harvard Medical School faculty physicians. Our team performs over 450,000 imaging exams and procedures annually, both in Boston and at community locations, utilizing state-of-the-art technology.
We offer a complete spectrum of clinical programs and services, ranging from routine imaging to advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures. Our commitment to patient care is matched by our dedication to educating future radiologists. We actively engage in research across basic science, medical technology, and health services, constantly striving to enhance imaging techniques and improve patient outcomes.
