Treatment for Neurological Disorders

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center’s General Neurology practice offers treatment for a wide range of neurological disorders. Our skilled neurologists are actively involved in the teaching and training of our residents and students, meaning you may interact with them either directly or indirectly as part of your visit.

What To Expect From Your Visit

During your first appointment with a general neurologist, you’ll undergo both a physical and neurological exam. Depending on what they find, you may also be referred for additional testing including imaging tests, nerve conduction studies, blood work, and more. Following the results of your initial visit, you’ll either continue being seen by a general neurologist or be referred to one of our specialty clinics.
