Our neurologists coordinate treatment and care with a multidisciplinary team of experts — including physical therapists, sleep specialists, social work and more — to meet the physical, cognitive and emotional needs of our patients and their caregivers.
Our Huntington’s Disease Program offers innovative, intensive and comprehensive care for Huntington's disease (HD) throughout the course of the disease. The program been designated a Center of Excellence by the Huntington’s Disease Society of America, recognizing our commitment to high-quality, comprehensive care and access to clinical research for Huntington's disease.
Our Dystonia Program is a leader in the diagnosis and treatment of dystonia, a rare movement disorder characterized by excessive pulling of muscles, leading to twisting movements or abnormal postures. Our multidisciplinary team works with patients to confirm their diagnosis and to create an individualized treatment plan that addresses symptoms to improve quality of life.
The Deep Brain Stimulation Program was the first in New England to perform Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery. Our multidisciplinary team is experienced in all aspects of DBS surgery, including proper selection of DBS candidates, operative planning, microelectrode recording and post-operative care.
