The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Division of Surgical Oncology work closely to provide advanced services for cancer care, including Mohs surgery for skin cancer.
The head and neck surgery service at BIDMC's Otolaryngology Department provides a multidisciplinary approach to treatment for patients with malignant (cancerous) and non-malignant conditions of the head and neck. The team also provides functional rhinoplasty and oral reconstructive and cosmetic surgery in conjunction with the Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
The Boston Lymphatic Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center provides compassionate care and advocacy for individuals with lymphatic disorders, including lymphatic surgery, while uniting health care providers and researchers from all disciplines to advance our knowledge of lymphatic disease and therapy.
BIDMC is one of the few hospitals in the nation to offer innovative surgical techniques for the management of lymphedema, such as lymph node transplantation and lymphovenous bypass.

We collaborate closely with colleagues in the Division of Orthopedic Surgery to offer thorough care for patients dealing with hand, wrist and elbow injuries and conditions.

We also collaborate with the Division of General Surgery and the Surgery Division with hernia repairs and body lift procedures and/or the removal of excess skin following weight loss from bariatric surgery.
