The multidisciplinary specialists at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center’s (BIDMC) Division of Foot and Ankle Surgery provide a comprehensive range surgical options for all injuries and conditions of the foot, ankle and lower leg.
We also offer numerous education and research opportunities, helping to train the next generation of foot and ankle specialists and advance our understanding of this area of medicine.
Foot and Ankle surgeon Christopher Miller, MD, has developed new minimally invasive procedures for Achilles tendon rupture repair and reconstruction and is continuing to pioneer minimally invasive techniques for complex foot and ankle surgeries. He has lectured and taught other surgeons these techniques nationally.
The Foot and Ankle Center of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians in Dedham is a collaborative initiative between specialists from our orthopedics and podiatry divisions, providing more complete diagnostic and treatment options to our patients.
We are committed to developing the next generation of foot and ankle orthopedic surgeons. We offer a range of advanced education and training programs to qualified physicians and medical students, including our Summer Orthopedic Research Internship, helping them develop their skills and improve their ability to provide quality care to patients.
