Orthopedic Education & Training
Orthopedic Training at BIDMC
The Carl J. Shapiro Department of Orthopaedics at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is committed to educating and training the next generation of orthopedic specialists. We offer exceptional training programs for fellows as well as a research internship for undergraduate and graduate medical students. Our goal is to not only provide clinical training and medical education, but to also build careers and develop future leaders.
In addition to education programs hosted by the Department of Orthopedics, there are also numerous training opportunities in other BIDMC departments with components related to our orthopedic work, providing opportunities for valuable interdisciplinary experience.
If you have any questions about our orthopedic education programs, please contact David Gore, Medical Education Coordinator for the Department of Orthopaedics, at 617-667-3940.
