Emergency Medicine Education Programs
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is a teaching hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School. The Emergency Department’s Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency (HAEMR) is a highly rated three-year program with a total of 39 residents. Medical students from Harvard Medical School and other United States and international medical schools also take clerkship rotations in the department during their third and fourth years.
All of the Emergency Department faculty physicians are academically focused on scientific and administrative research. Many are nationally recognized for original peer-reviewed articles and textbook authorship.
