Training in Radiology
Our Harvard-affiliated Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) Radiology Residency Programs are located in the exciting Longwood Medical and Academic Area of Boston. For over 60 years, we have trained exceptional clinical radiologists who comprise our national and international network of active and engaged alumni.
We offer three Radiology Residency Programs:
- Diagnostic Radiology: This is our standard, four-year training program in preparation for board certification in Radiology.
- Interventional Radiology (IR) — Integrated: This a five-year program that integrates Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology training in preparation for combined board certification.
- Interventional Radiology (IR) — Independent: This is a two-year program for residents who have already completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency.
