Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery Residency Program

Training in Otolaryngology

The Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery proudly welcomed its first class of residents in June 2020. We have built an independently robust residency program that offers comprehensive experiences in otolaryngology, including:

  • Head and neck surgical oncology
  • Microvascular reconstruction
  • Laryngology — professional voice, swallowing
  • Rhinology and skull base surgery
  • Otology, neurotology and skull base surgery
  • Facial plastic and reconstruction
  • Pediatric otolaryngology

In addition to the comprehensive clinical experience, we have research support through the FIRST program at BIDMC. Our faculty have a number of ongoing research projects that will help support academic growth among our trainees.
