Our Commitment to Equity & Quality
At BIDMC's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, our Division of Equity, Quality Improvement, and Safety is dedicated to advancing equity-focused quality improvement. Our initiatives span from enhancing patient experiences to addressing maternal health inequities in Greater Boston, tackling barriers for transgender patients, providing doula support, improving obstetric care for those with opioid use disorder, safely reducing primary cesarean births, and optimizing pain control post-cesarean for patients with limited English proficiency.
