Spine Surgery at BIDMC

BIDMC neurosurgeons treat a wide range of spine disorders with the latest diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, using minimally invasive surgical procedures whenever possible.

We work closely with the BIDMC Spine Center to provide multidisciplinary, well-coordinated care.

We treat all spine conditions from the base of the skull (cervical spine) to the pelvis (lumbar spine). This includes conditions such as:

Degenerative disc disease
Spinal trauma
Lumbar stenosis
Cervical stenosis and cervical myelopathy
Spondylolisthesis

Our surgeons are adept at revision surgeries for patients who have previously had surgery elsewhere and are experiencing problems, as well as providing comprehensive evaluation of new problems.
