Ultraviolet A and Ultraviolet B Treatment

The Phototherapy Unit offers ultraviolet A and ultraviolet B treatment for skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and vitiligo. We offer the most up-to-date technology at our facility, including narrow-band UVB.

Treatment typically involves short exposure to UVB rays 3 to 5 times a week. Almost all skin conditions that respond to UVB light are chronic conditions, so patients will need ongoing treatment to keep those problems in check.
