Driving the Future of Podiatric Surgery
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is committed to shaping the future of podiatric surgery by providing qualified medical students with advanced clinical training and education opportunities. Participants in our programs will develop the skills needed to fill clinical leadership roles and offer high-quality, compassionate care to patients.
Our podiatric surgery externship program is designed to expose the fourth year podiatric medical student to the Division of Podiatric Surgery at BIDMC. It is a one-month program under the direction of the BIDMC podiatric surgery attendings, fellows, and residents and is intended to be an outstanding learning experience in medical student education and surgical education.
