About the Division

Care & Services

We offer colon and rectal surgical services and colorectal cancer services.

Our surgeons are board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. They specialize in minimally invasive approaches, including standard laparoscopic, single-incision laparoscopic (through one small skin incision), and robotic laparoscopic surgeries for the small bowel, colon, and rectum.

Education & Training

The Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery excels in training future surgeons. We are affiliated with Harvard Medical School, and our ACGME-accredited colon and rectal surgery fellowship is highly acclaimed and regarded.

Research

Researchers in the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery work to improve patient outcomes for benign and malignant colorectal diseases through clinical and basic science research.
