Volunteer Application Process

Our application process involves:

• Application form, including two references (not required for current employees)
• Interview
• Volunteer interviews are scheduled from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
• CORI (adult volunteers only; not required for employees)
• Health clearance, including:
  
  • Proof of immunizations, including MMR, COVID vaccines, COVID booster and annual flu shot
  • Tuberculosis test (Q-Gold or T-spot; skin test is not accepted) for roles that are 3 months or longer with patient interaction
  • Remote roles do not require health clearance
• Training and orientation are scheduled from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday

Volunteer Requirements

Volunteers must be at least 15 years old, and adhere to the following criteria:

• Be able to commit 4 hours, once a week for 6-12 months (may vary depending on the role)
• Complete an application, submit references and have an interview
• If selected, complete health screening requirements and a criminal background check (18 and older)
• Complete educational modules and attend an orientation
