Delivering Advanced Neurosurgical Care

The Division of Neurosurgery at BIDMC provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art care for adults with a broad range of conditions affecting the nervous system. Our neurosurgeons are key members of the BIDMC Spine Center, Brain Aneurysm Institute and the Comprehensive Epilepsy Clinic and work collaboratively with other members of the Department of Surgery to provide patients with comprehensive, multidisciplinary, well-coordinated care. 

Neurosurgery faculty conduct a diverse range of basic and clinical research aimed at better understanding neurologic conditions and discovering, developing, and improving technology and treatments for patients, as well as evaluating patient outcomes. The goal is to advance knowledge on neurologic conditions to improve care for patients worldwide.  

Neurosurgery faculty publish their research findings in leading academic journals and books and are invited to present their work at conferences nationally and internationally.
