Research Glasswashing Core
About BIDMC's Research Glasswashing Core
The Research Glasswashing Core is primarily responsible for the cleaning and sterilization of reusable laboratory glassware, reagents, and equipment. This centralized service eliminates the need for research laboratories to assign their personnel to washing and sterilization of labware. The core provides service to all research buildings (Research North, SL/RW Dana, CLS) and is available for an hourly rate and the rates are increased at least 2% annually at the start of each BIDMC fiscal year (October).
