About Our Program
BIDMC recognizes that not all patients have the financial resources to pay for care, and is committed to providing medical services regardless of your ability to pay.
The Financial Assistance Program offers emergency and other medically necessary services at low or no cost to qualified patients. Whether you are uninsured or underinsured, you can apply for financial assistance.
Our Financial Counseling Staff will assist you in applying for all eligible financial assistance programs, free of charge.
If approved, financial assistance will apply to:

- Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton
- Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham

- Lahey Hospital & Medical Center
- Lahey Medical Center, Peabody
- Mount Auburn Hospital
- New England Baptist Hospital
- Winchester Hospital
Certain physicians are not covered under the BIDMC Financial Assistance policy. A Financial Counselor can provide more information.
