Beth Israel Lahey Health Celebrates Construction Milestone for Quincy Care Center
New Multi-Specialty Center in Quincy Under Construction
Quincy, MA — Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) leaders joined local officials, community members and the team overseeing development and construction of the new BILH Care Center – Quincy for a ceremony on December 5 to mark the “topping off” of the project. This significant milestone represents the completion of the structural frame of the care center.
Anticipated to open in 2027, the multi-specialty ambulatory center will provide comprehensive healthcare services, including primary care, urgent care, a full suite of diagnostic radiology services, lab services and a retail pharmacy. Specialty services offered at the center will include cardiology, OBGYN, cancer care, orthopedics, podiatry, gastroenterology and more.
“Beth Israel Lahey Health is committed to growing care in our communities,” said Peter Shorett, senior executive vice president and chief operating officer, Beth Israel Lahey Health. “By expanding health care services, including primary care, urgent care and many specialties, the Quincy Care Center will be key to increasing access to the extraordinary care BILH provides to our patients. We are excited to reach this milestone in the project and thank the City of Quincy and the construction and development teams for all their collaborative efforts to bring this project to life.”
"This project, located right in Quincy Center, will provide convenient access to world-class health care,” said Pete Healy, president, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and divisional president, Metro Boston, BILH. “Quincy and the surrounding community will benefit from having so many services, including primary care and many specialties, in one location.”
The care center will be operated by Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). Physicians will be employed by Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at BIDMC and Beth Israel Lahey Health Primary Care.
In 2023, after working collaboratively with the City of Quincy and FoxRock Properties, BIDMC signed a lease with FoxRock to develop the site. Consigli Construction Co., Inc. is managing the construction of the property, which began in 2025.
“The topping-off ceremony marks an important milestone and makes it clear that this state-of-the-art care center is becoming a reality for Quincy,” said Mayor Thomas P. Koch. “As the building takes shape, it reinforces our commitment to the future of health care in our City and solidifies that residents will soon have access to comprehensive, world-class medical services right here at home. This project is a major investment in Quincy’s health, vitality, and long-term future.”
"We extend our thanks to Consigli and all of the contractors whose hard work made this milestone possible,” Jason Ward, Managing Director, FoxRock Properties. “We greatly value our partnership with the City of Quincy and Beth Israel and are fully committed to supporting Beth Israel in delivering world-class healthcare to Quincy and the surrounding communities."
“At Consigli, we are proud to work on projects that make lasting, positive impacts on the communities we serve, and this new care facility furthers that commitment,” said Sean O’Keefe, Project Executive at Consigli Construction Co., Inc. “This construction milestone represents exciting progress for Beth Israel Lahey Health in its work to expand accessible, high-quality care to the City of Quincy, and our team looks forward to our continued partnership in delivering a healthier, more resilient future for local residents and families.”
The Care Center will be located at 55 General McConville Way in Quincy and is within walking distance of the Quincy Center MBTA stop.
