Rotation Specific Simulation Program

Each BIDMC rotation has incorporated its own educational program specific to the nature of that surgical service. This effort has included the development of rotation-specific simulation exercises aimed at improving the resident’s skill set as it pertains to his/her current learning environment. Examples include: soft tissue tumor biopsy, colonoscopy, vascular anastomoses, pancreaticojejunostomy, bronchoscopy, and cricothyroidotomy.
