BIDMC's flagship campus is in Boston’s Longwood Medical and Academic Area with locations across Eastern Massachusetts offering world-class care to the community.
BIDMC's most recent addition includes the Urgent Care Center at our Chelsea location. This walk-in Center offers immediate care for non-life-threatening conditions and is open seven days a week.
Our Chestnut Hill location also has an Urgent Care Center which is open 7 days a week.
Both urgent care locations are staffed by emergency medicine trained physicians.
BIDMC has community hospitals in Needham, Milton and Plymouth, outpatient centers in Chelsea, Chestnut Hill and Lexington and primary care providers in 37 towns across MA. We also have clinical affiliations with Anna Jaques Hospital, Cambridge Health Alliance, Signature Healthcare, MetroWest Medical Center and New England Baptist, which means patients can receive high-quality care right where they live. What’s more, they have easy access to specialty care at BIDMC should they need it.
Our strong commitment and support of community health centers continues with affiliations with Bowdoin Street Health Center, Charles River Community Health, The Dimock Center, Fenway Health, Outer Cape Health Services and South Cove Community Health Center.
Besides providing extraordinary care, we are an integral part of the community, supporting various programs to benefit the health and well being of our neighbors, including the Farm to Family CSA Program, Train4Change, Active Living/Healthy Eating Zumba classes and more.
