I have long been a fan of Cancer Care in New York and surrounding areas. Beginning as a rather small agency that provided support services and some financial assistance to New York area patients, it has expanded to having numerous offices and a national presence via an excellent website and many online support services. I believe that they were one of the very early agencies or institutions to offer online support groups, and I frequently refer people to them.
This is information about a new resource that they have developed: Cancer.com. This site enables people to develop a personalized library of resources and information about their particular illness and situation.
