About Our URiM Visiting Student Clinical Anesthesiology Elective
The Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center offers financial assistance for third/fourth-year underrepresented in medicine, (URiM as defined by the AAMC, e.g. African American, Hispanic, Latinx, American Indian, Alaskan Native) medical students.
This scholarship is $2,500 and is meant to offset the cost of housing and travel to Boston for the clerkship. Students must be in good academic standing at a US accredited medical school and must complete all requirements for application to the clerkship.
