Inclusive and Dedicated Care for All
The Center for LGBTQIA+ Digestive Health at BIDMC is proud to provide exemplary, multidisciplinary care for our patients of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Our mission is to ensure our patients of all backgrounds receive routine and advanced digestive health management and treatment in a supportive and affirming space. We are the first center in the nation to provide personalized care to the LGBTQIA+ community for the full spectrum of digestive health conditions.

Procedures & Screenings
Our faculty provides colonoscopy and endoscopy services, including screening colonoscopies which are recommended at 45 years old for those at average risk. Our team performs procedures on our main BIDMC campuses, as well as throughout the community Beth Israel Deaconess sites to deliver care closer to home.
