Pain Center Consultation at BIDMCLiving with any kind of pain can be exhausting—both physically and mentally. If you are a patient with acute or chronic pain and you have not responded to conventional therapies, our team is ready with the experience and expertise to diagnose and treat your pain.

Our state-of-the-art facility features comfortable exam rooms, fully equipped procedure rooms and a complete recovery area.

Note: The Arnold-Warfield Pain Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center does not routinely prescribe long-term opioids for pain management. If it is decided that opioid medication is the appropriate way for you to manage your pain, our recommendations will be sent to your primary or treating provider. You will not be given a prescription for opioids during your initial visit. If you feel you may have an addiction problem, please discuss treatment options with your primary care provider. The BIDMC Department of Psychiatry also has treatment options for addiction and substance abuse disorder.
