Call us directly to speak with our breast care coordinator, who will schedule your patient's appointment. Specifically for physician referrals, the Doctor-to-Doctor line will promptly direct your call to the appropriate office. Call or visit Find-a-Doctor online to find a BIDMC doctor for your patient.
Referral Checklist and Care Map

Your patients will need to gather pathology, imaging and medical records if their breast images and biopsies were done outside of the BIDMC system. We have prepared a checklist for your patients to use to gather all necessary materials before their first appointment.

Appointment Checklist 

Following your patient's visit in the BreastCare Center, we will forward to you a copy of the clinical dictated note and a copy of the care map we give to the patient. We are always available to discuss patient progress and care, and are committed to staying in close touch with you regarding your patient's status. 

Consultation for Breast Imaging

Our radiologists are happy to provide a second opinion on any breast imaging exam. Please call Breast Imaging at 617-754-9500, and we will help you facilitate delivery of the images as needed.
