Parris LabWe are one of the major research departments in the United States. With over $190 million in Department of Medicine research funding annually, we rank among the top independent hospitals nationwide. Our portfolio currently includes 190 active NIH research grants, including 11 training grants.

We believe that research is an intrinsic part of being a physician. In addition to our dedicated Physician-Scientist Track for residents pursuing a research career, our program introduces residents to a spectacular array of research opportunities with renowned investigators - exciting opportunities that are also available as part of our fellowships.
