Parking at BIDMC

There are several parking garages at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center:

If you park your car yourself, please note that most of our garages have cashiers located outside the garage. You must bring your ticket with you and pay the cashier before returning to your car. The Lowry Medical Office Building garage is the only garage where parking can be paid for at the exit gate.

Limited metered parking is also available near BIDMC on Brookline Avenue and Pilgrim Road.

110 Francis Street Garage

  • After-hours parking for the Klarman Building available through Klarman Building valet only.

Cashier: Garage exit

  • Convenient for patients with outpatient appointments at the Lowry Medical Office Building and visitors of the Klarman Building.
  • Disability access is limited to the first floor.

Valet Parking

For your convenience, valet parking is available on the West Campus in front of the Rosenberg Building on Deaconess Road, the Klarman Building on Francis Street, and on the East Campus at the Binney Street entrance.

Valet parking is a premium service that BIDMC is pleased to offer. Discount stickers are not accepted for use of valet. Patient/visitor validation is accepted.

If you have your car parked by the valet, you will be charged a flat valet rate. For details, call 617-667-7000 and ask to be directed to Patient Information.

Valet parking for hi-top vans and patients requiring special assistance is also available at BIDMC. Please contact Commuter Services at 617-667-3035 with questions.

Parking Discount for Patients, Family and Friends

Save on your parking expenses when you visit BIDMC as a patient or visitor.

One-day Parking Discount (Validation)

Parking discounts are available when you park in a BIDMC garage for more than 2 hours. To redeem this discount, visit the information desk in any BIDMC lobby upon your departure.

Parking rates with discount validation:

  • 0 – 1/2 hour = $ 5.00 (no validation necessary)
  • 1/2 – 1 hour = $ 8.00 (no validation necessary)
  • 1 – 2 hours = $10.00 (no validation necessary)
  • 2 – 4 hours = $12.00
  • 4 – 6 hours = $14.00
  • 6 – 24 hours = $18.00

10-pack Vouchers (Pink Stickers)

Purchase a pack of ten "pink stickers" for $25. Simply turn in one sticker with your garage ticket upon your departure to receive a discount.

Parking cost with a pink sticker:

  • Up to 3 hours parking: no charge
  • Up to 6 hours: $5.00
  • Up to 24 hours: $7.00

Multi-day Parking Pass

Multi-day parking passes are ideal if you frequently visit BIDMC. Passes allow unlimited entry and exit within each 24-hour parking day (the clock starts at time of entry and ends at midnight.) No need to stop at the cashier to check out — simply swipe your pass when you enter and exit the garage.

Multi-day pass prices:

  • 5 parking days for $40.00
  • 10 parking days for $59.00
  • 14 parking days for $74.00

Remember:

  • Discount stickers of any kind are valid for garage parking only. Not valid for valet parking.
  • Discounts are strictly for BIDMC patients, their family members and visitors. Hospital employees are prohibited from using the discounts.
  • Passes are non-refundable/non-replaceable if lost, stolen or unused.
  • Passes must be purchased in advance for future parking days.

Free Inter-Campus Shuttle

A free, wheelchair-accessible shuttle service runs in a continuous loop between the east and west campuses, Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
