Schizophrenia

Dr. Manoach is conducting studies of the neural substrate of working memory in normal subjects and patients with schizophrenia using functional MRI. The goal of this work is to better understand the heterogeneity of "hypofrontality" in schizophrenia by considering its relation to neurocognitive deficits and negative symptoms.
