The Boston Red Sox honored Dr. Stuart Schnitt as our Medical All-Star. An internationally recognized expert in breast pathology, Dr. Schnitt is chief of the new Division of Cancer Pathology within the Department of Pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and chief of oncologic pathology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
An accomplished clinician, researcher, teacher and leader, Dr. Schnitt helps to shape the future of cancer pathology in these leadership positions. Widely regarded for his research and contributions to the field of pathology, Dr. Schnitt also teaches future medical leaders as professor of pathology at Harvard Medical School. He has published hundreds of articles, editorials and books, significantly impacting the global field of pathology.
