Herbert F. Gramm Radiology Education Academy at BIDMC
The Radiology Education Academy is an organization of radiology educators to promote the educational mission of world-class academic programs and teaching. The academy serves to help educators share best practices, promote curricula, perform education research, curate enduring educational materials, and coordinate the educational efforts and implementation of educational innovation across the department.
The Education Academy is named for Herbert F. Gramm, MD, FACR, FSAR, for his passion for educating and mentoring the next generation of radiologists, incredible teaching file collection, and decades-long commitment to the Department of Radiology. One of our most celebrated and influential pioneers, Dr. Gramm remains an invaluable colleague and mentor.
"My fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging and Interventions at BIDMC has more than exceeded my expectations. During diagnostic rotations, fellows are consistently exposed to a high volume of bread-and-butter as well as complex and uncommon cases. The interventional training is phenomenal and I feel confident in my ability to perform non-vascular interventional procedures in my future career as a result of this fellowship. Above all, I have truly enjoyed the people at BIDMC. From the attending radiologists, who consistently make an effort to teach, to the varied members of the allied health team, who are incredibly supportive of trainees, I could not have asked for a better group of people to learn from!"
