Letter from Our Department Chair

Seward Rutkove, MD BIDMC Neurology is a group of more than 70 neurologists and neuroscientists, along with many more allied medical professionals, whose main interest is in identifying and treating all forms of diseases affecting the nervous system, from brain to muscle.

In addition to providing personalized leading-edge care for many disorders, we take pride in our large number of research studies—both basic and clinical—and our many teaching programs for medical students, residents, and fellows. We see ourselves as one cohesive whole, whose main goal is to foster the neurological science and workforce of the future while providing the best possible individualized care to our patients today.
