International Visitor Program

The International Visitor Program was developed as a result of requests made by colleagues within the United States and throughout the world to learn first-hand about our professional nursing practice model and the management system developed here to support care and practice. Teams of nurse leaders travel to BIDMC and spend time with our staff, ranging from days to weeks, to learn about how we do nursing. Clinical Practicum Placement Program for Nursing Students

BIDMC nursing is proud of its role in preparing nurses of the future. We provide clinical practicum placements for students in bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral level nursing programs. A number of our clinical nurses have appointments as adjunct clinical faculty at area schools of nursing.
