Travel Medicine and Immunization Clinic
If you are travelling internationally, some vaccines may be required depending upon the country you are visiting. The Travel Medicine and Immunization Clinic offers the best pre- and post-travel care for patients.
Our physicians routines vaccinate travelers who require special considerations - whether you are pregnant, have undergone a transplant surgery or have other high-risk medical conditions.
Before Your Travel
Please schedule an appointment at least 30 days ahead of your travel date. Your consultation will take between 30 to 45 minutes. The physician will review your medical history and inform you about the side effects of the vaccines.
After Your Return
If you were seriously ill abroad, developed a fever or other travel-related symptoms after your return, or were abroad for an extended period of time, please call us.
Insurance Coverage
Although we currently accept many insurance plans, we advise patients to call your insurance carrier to clarify that preventative counseling and/or pre-travel immunizations are covered. We also see "self-pay" individuals.
