The Department of Radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center includes more than 65 Harvard Medical faculty physicians who perform over 450,000 imaging exams and procedures in Boston and at our community locations annually.
We offer a complete spectrum of clinical programs and services using the latest imaging technology and techniques. We are also committed to training our future radiologists and pursuing advancements in basic science, technology, and health services research to continually improve patient outcomes.

Programs & Services
CT Scan
Computed Tomography (CT) is a diagnostic tool that combines X-rays with state of the art computer technology to produce "cross-sectional" images of the body.
Interventional Radiology
We specialize in treating a wide variety of conditions with minimally invasive techniques that involve lower risk, less pain and a shorter recovery time than open surgeries.
MRI
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) produces detailed images of the body without the use of X-rays.
