Common Flu Symptoms
Influenza (also known as the flu) is a contagious respiratory viral infection that usually comes on suddenly. It can cause mild to severe illness.
Typical flu-like symptoms include
- Fever (100ºF or higher)
PLUS
- Cough or sore throat
Other symptoms may include
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Muscle aches
- Runny or stuffy nose
- Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
If you have typical flu symptoms (fever with cough or sore throat) with or without other symptoms, stay home and contact your manager or supervisor prior to coming to work.
