Since the "comments" section is still not functioning, this is the only way to share a wonderful response to yesterday:
I, like you, despise the "pinkness" of October! Even more so because it was October when I was diagnosed. But I need to share an experience I had yesterday. The flight attendant was hawking the "new" snack boxes one could purchase. At the end of the spiel, she dramatically raised her voice and jubilantly announced the "special" for October-a pink box of some kind of fudge. And, of course part of the proceeds go to cancer research-right. Will it never end.
