Asian Hiatus

We are leaving early tomorrow morning for two weeks in Asia. Therefore, I likely will not post anything until my return on the 28th or 29th.
I am very excited about this trip. I love to travel and especially enjoy visiting new places (and eating great food. In all honesty, I travel to eat). This trip comes with some nostalgia. We are spending a few days in Bangkok at the start and a few days in Hong Kong at the end. In between, we will be in Laos, going down the Mekong River and visiting various interesting sites. I lived in Vietnam for three years as a young girl, and was in Laos when I was 11. I am sure it has changed enormously since then, but, per the reviews (and I will report back), it has changed far less than most other places in the world. I have been to Bangkok and Hong Kong more recently, and as an adult, but also not for years.
I will be thinking of you all and will be back on line soon.
