News for Newly Diagnosed

Virtually every week I speak with at least one woman who has just learned that she has breast cancer. All of us who have lived through this remember those terrible first days of panic and grief. There is so much to learn, so many decisions to make, so many people to meet, and our minds are swirling, and we certainly are not thinking our best or sharpest. I always tell women that, once there is a plan in place, no matter what it is, things will feel slightly better. Hard to believe at the time, but always true.
